Die Alpenarena von Flims Laax und Falera ist bekannt unter vielen Namen. Sie erstreckt sich am Fusse des Crap Sogn Gion bis hin zum Flimserstein und wird im Norden begrenzt von den Glarner Alpen. Moderne Lifte und 220 km präparierte Pisten bieten Wintersportlern von 1050m bis 3018m ü.M. unzählige Möglichkeiten für unvergessliche Wintererlebnisse. Im Sommer erweitet sich dieser Erholungsraum bis hinunter zur Rheinschlucht auf 650m ü.M. (siehe Sommer...)...
Flims-Laax-Falera ist sehr gut erreichbar mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder per Auto und liegt nicht weit entfernt von der Kantonshauptstadt Chur. Ebenfalls in der Nähe liegt das bekannte Thermalbad von Vals, erbaut vom international bekannten Architekten Peter Zumthor. Die neu gebaute und einzige öffentliche Sternwarte Graubündens im nahen Falera rundet das vielfältige Sportangebot und das reiche kulturelle Angebot dieser Region ab und bietet nicht nur sportlichen Personen einen spannenden und unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in der romanisch sprechenden Region von Flims, Laax und Falera.
Das Hostel (war eines der ersten Hotels von Laax...) liegt ganz in der Nähe der Talstation Laax-Murschetg mit der nahen Busstation "Laax-Marcau" und bietet für jedem Geschmack und jedes Budget verschiedene Zimmer an... mit vegetarischer Halbpension oder nur mit Frühstück.

There is more than just one name for this extraordinary high alpine resort in the Swiss Alps. The three villages of Flims, Laax and Falera are stretched around the bottom of Mount Crap Sogn Gion(means: Stone of the Holy John), the main access to the white arena. A total of 28 lift facilities and 220 kilometers of slopes, located at altitudes between 1,050 and 3,018 meters above sea level, are at your disposal.
Snowboarders and free-skiers go crazy about the halfpipes, the railpark and the kicker lines in Laax! In summertime there is even more to explore in Flims, Laax and Falera... have a look under the menue summer/winter.
Flims-Laax-Falera is very easy to reach by public transport or roads and is not far away from the country capital, named Chur. Also close to Laax is Vals, the famous thermal bath, build by the international known Swiss architekt Peter Zumthor. The village Falera has build recently a public observatory, which will give to the ressort even a scientific touch and makes the whole area worth to visit not only for winter or summer sports.
The hostel is located near to Laax-Murschetg, the main cable car station with the public bus stop named "Laax-Marcau".
